It is essential to note that the product should not be used for children or pets under 50 pounds, as the maximum weight supported with a mattress is 1000 pounds. The Murphy bed is designed to accommodate most standard Queen mattresses, ranging from 8-12 inches in thickness and weighing 60-90 pounds, with dimensions of 60 x 80 inches (not suitable for futons). Please note that the mattress is not included, and a box spring should not be used in conjunction with the bed.
